Through our engineers previous work at Lotus Motorsport we noticed a gap in the market for good quality, cost effective upgrades for the Lotus market. Starting with the S2 2ZZ platform we developed a Plug and Play ECU option for the S2 drive-by-wire cars with Ecumaster. This offering went on to become a staple for cars competing in both Elise Trophy (formerly Lotus Cup UK) and Lotus Cup Europe. After such success with this model we expanded into the S3 2ZR powered cars, first developing a wiring adaptor to convert the stock loom to accept and Ecumaster EMU Black ECU. The increasing level of orders for the adaptors prompted us to ask Ecumaster to once again make a Plug and Play option and so the 2ZR EMU Black PnP was born.
With this 2ZR Plug and Play ECU we were able to develop power upgrade kits for the S3 chassis, firstly our 265hp kit utilising the Ecumaster ECU for the higher gains. After the success of this kit we wanted to push the boundaries even more and created a range of products aimed at boosting power safely and keeping temperatures at a respectable level. With some testing we pooled all our products together and created the 300hp kit again using the Ecumaster ECU but this time adding a charge cooler kit, thermal supercharger gasket, larger injectors and a smaller supercharger pulley. This kit has now taken off with multiple kits being sent worldwide to make Elise owners have an even bigger smile while driving!
Not satisfied with the current intake options we have now started exploring filters and silicone pipe options as well as forged pistons and rods for those after even more power.
We have created an Ecumaster ADU (digital dash) set up for the Lotus market as well, compatible with both the stock ECU and a range of aftermarket options it allows for crystal clear viewing of a number of ECU parameters as well as the option to have lap timing and custom page designs which is something other dash manufacturers do not have the ability to do.
